Major activity recently has seen the machining of the Tank Supports and Star Stay at Harco Engineering, Brierley Hill. These are due to be delivered to Tyseley Locomotive Works to join the rest of the locomotive components.
The 2 Inside Cylinder castings remain at Harco while the machining drawings are finalised. This is expected to be completed in the next few weeks when machining of the cylinders can start.
Cad work on the Horn Guides, Axleboxes and Motion Bracket casting continues as time allows, along with the drilling and machining details for the Main Frames.
