6100 was renumbered 46100 by British Railways after nationalisation in 1948. In 1950 46100 was rebuilt. It was withdrawn in October 1962. It was bought by Billy Butlin for Cosmetic Restoration and displayed at the Skegness Holiday Camp. It moved to Bressingham Steam Museum in Norfolk in 1971, and bought from Butlin’s in 1989. It was sold in 2009 to the newly formed Royal Scot Locomotive & General Trust, and after an extensive refurbishment,      re entered service in 2015.
